We are sure many of you have seen the videos circulating social media for the spin class with more lively music (in our opinion) all over the states.  Some would call it urban music, but we call it RnB, Hip Hop etc. Of course we were intrigued and tried to find a similar type of class in London, but much to our surprise, none existed, most if not all spin classes are completed to dance music or loud rock. Not our cup of tea…. So imagine our excitement when we found out the same class and teacher whom we’ve been watching on Youtube and Instagram videos was coming to London! God answers prayers! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 We were excited and also apprehensive, from previous experiences (one class each 😄) Spin is not an easy task.

Maria’s Thoughts

Woah… okay where to start! I know spin classes are usually quite intense but in my head, for some reason I thought that the fusion of dance and spin would be a lot easier than just the standard spin class….. I know it sounds strange but hear me out…. My thought process was that the intermittent twerk and whine of the waist would give me a breather…. oh how wrong I was. Keith makes it look so easy but dancing on a bike is challenging. This class was intense, however the vibe and energy kept  me going. Keith aka hype man extraordinaire does a great job of working the room and interacting with everyone. He creates a comfortable environment, where you can let loose and channel your inner video vixen. 

Nifesi’s Thoughts

Matey! This is not as easy as it looks. It is truly a challenge, I don’t know how Keith does it with all the extra moves, but wow it was not easy to keep going. I really enjoyed it and the atmosphere and energy created by Keith was fantastic. He walked around the class and interacted with everyone individually. The music helped though, seriously I’m motivated by music, therefore it was only right that I kept moving even when my thighs were not happy with me.

I could do this but my crotch will not agree to this as a regular form of exercise, those spin bike seats are painful! I would like to clap my hands to those of you that regularly do spin class, it is not for me. Thick thighs save lives 🤪.

Final Thoughts

As ladies who really enjoy shaking a leg,  we would highly recommend this class. Yes it’is intense but you can exercise at your own pace and as we’ve both mentioned the energy in the room will help keep you motivated!
