Since the past year or so trampoline parks have become quite popular, they provide fun for the entire family, allowing children and adults alike to spend a couple of hours jumping and bouncing around. For a friend’s birthday, we decided to get involved in this new trend and go trampolining with a twist. At Jump Giants Thurrock they offer the option of a night time disco, allowing you to bust a move while bouncing…which is actually a lot harder than we thought haha.
When you arrive you are given a 15min induction training, outlining the dos and don’ts. Then off you go… free to 🎤jump round, jump around, jump up jump up and get down.🎤
The DJ played a very commercial selection, so you can expect a mix of all the latest chart hits. Now maybe this is just down to us getting old but we couldn’t stay bouncing for long 😂, maximum was 35 mins without a break and even then, it gets pretty tiring.
We noticed that the trampoline park was relatively quiet for a Friday night but that could be due to the location , as Jump Giant Thurrock is situated in a business park. On the plus side apart from a few other people, we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
Jump Giant provided a fun opportunity to be kids again, to bounce around and try things you wouldn’t do at home for the sake of banging your head or breaking a bone. Even to do a simple roly poly, it took some convincing. But we can honestly say that we enjoyed ourselves. Now this isn’t something we would do regularly, but once a year would keep us happy!
